Pretoria was originally brewed as one of our award winning ‘Film Themed’ Beers as ‘Saving a Pint for Ryan’ and renamed after the local coal mine, where in 1910, 344 miners lost their lives in the worst ever Lancashire pit disaster.

It is a perfectly clean yellow gold ale with big assertive lemon sherbet hops; juicy but dry and bitter with just a pinch of sourness. There follows a faint taste of pale malt in the finish to add a touch of balancing sweetness to all the bitter lemon.
